VMworld is just around the corner and iXsystems is looking forward to seeing you. From August 28 to September 1, over 25,000 people will descend on the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Convention Center in Las Vegas to hear presentations, attend training sessions, and view exhibits from us as well as VMware and more than 250 partners. Our own iXsystems devils will be showing the iXsystems flash-assisted and all-flash versions of the TrueNAS storage array, which is ideal to store and protect VMs, as well as an iXsystems MicroBlade server that is ideal to run them. You can see these as well as speak to us at Booth 645. We can’t wait to meet you at the show!

The exhibition hall is open Sunday from 5pm-7:30 pm, Monday and Tuesday from 11am-6pm, and Wednesday from 10am-5pm. Attend the welcome reception on Sunday and chat with iXsystems’ Executive Vice President Brett Davis. Come to our booth from 4:30pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday and attend the famous Hall Crawl. Enjoy some beer on us and our partner Intel, chat with our staff, and learn how TrueNAS and iXsystems servers support VMs.
At the booth you will see our VMware certified and award-winning TrueNAS storage array. There, you will learn that an all-flash array is not required when you transform to a software defined data center. TrueNAS will give your VMs flash-like performance with hard drive economics. If you need an all-flash model, iXsystems offers the TrueNAS Z50 TrueFlash that scales to 300 terabytes.
We will also have an iXsystems MicroBlade server that is ideal for VMware. The MicroBlade server lets you deploy thousands of VMs at a cost of less than $30 per VM. This cost per VM got us thinking that many customers view the cloud as less costly than deploying physical systems so they host VMs or their entire data center in the cloud and then get surprised by their bill. Many customers don’t want to depend on a public cloud for their VMs, and we agree!
