iXsystems Named Safest Workplace

I am proud to say that iXsystems received the Workplace Safety Award from the Controllable Premium National Education Association (CPRNEA). You might have read my recent blog post about the recognition iXsystems received from an Intel VP for our work in the open source community.
I’m sure I say this often, but it really is an exciting time for iXsystems. This award is presented to companies who haven’t had any workplace incidents in the past three years. The award was a complete surprise to us. We maintain a safe work environment but we don’t do it for recognition or to fulfill a quota. We do it because it’s the right thing to do.
We make sure our employees work in a safe environment where they grow and prosper, even though no one may be looking. This award is a testament to the commitment we have toward creating and maintaining a safe workplace. We offer career training classes, weekly gym workout sessions, and regular company events to make sure our employees are happy, healthy, and engaged.
