Utilizing the 3ware Escalade 9500S Serial ATA RAID Adapter, iXsystems delivers a 4 Terabyte Storage Server running the popular FreeBSD operating system.
“Expensive storage arrays are becoming a thing of the past,” comments Matt Olander, the Chief Technology Officer at iXsystems, Inc. “We are proud to be the first company to work with 3ware in order to make this happen for our customers.”
The first system built was sold to a large webhosting company that is hosted in the Silicon Valley.
