OffMyServer
announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the
iXsystem's (formerly BSDi) general server business. OffMyServer will
immediately begin support of the iXsystems installed base and
operations. OffMyServer will focus on integrating iXsystems products
with its existing managed hosting services and has plans to introduce
several server appliances and advanced systems offerings.

very excited about this opportunity to bundle iXsystems leading-edge
rackmount servers with hosting and managed services," said Mike Lauth,
CEO of OffMyServer. "Going forward, OffMyServer will be in an excellent
position to deliver advanced server and hosting solutions based on
FreeBSD and Intel powered server platforms."

is coming out with new products on a consistent schedule," says Matt
Olander, Chief Technology Officer for OffMyServer. "We're working on a
Rapid Deployment FreeBSD server appliance as well as a FreeBSD cluster
appliance. We're looking at Q4, 2002 or early Q1, 2003 for release."
